Terms and Conditions

ORDERING
Once you place your order, we will review it and put it through for processing. If we notice any missing information or anticipate any issues, we will contact you to ask further questions.

PRICE
Your payment is taken as you place your order so you will always be charged at the rate advertised at the point of ordering. Your order will be unaffected by subsequent price rises.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Occasionally, the cheese we’ve advertised may not be suitable to send. If this is the case we’ll substitute a similar cheese to an equivalent monetary value. There will be no change to the amount you have been charged. If you would rather cancel your order than receive a substitution, please advise us when you place your order.

QUALITY CONCERNS
We take great pride in the quality and condition of our cheese and it should reach you in the best possible condition. When you receive your box of cheese, please open it right away, loosen the wrapping around the cheeses and inspect them. If you aren’t happy with what you find, please call us right away on 03 6260 2341 and if possible email pictures to sales@wickedcheese.com.au and we will do our best to put it right. If you’d like a replacement order, we can send that out for you or if you would rather just have your money back, we can do that too.

Likewise if the box of cheese has been damaged during delivery, please call us as soon as possible and if possible email us pictures. Risk of damage or deterioration to the goods passes to you, as the buyer, on delivery so please contact us as soon as possible. No claim for damage or deterioration after delivery can be accepted unless we’re informed straight away. Nor can we accept any responsibility for quality deterioration due to the following delivery problems:

    Incorrect addresses
    Unopened parcels
    Delayed deliveries due to weather problems.
    Gifts to recipients who have gone away or are unable to receive parcels.

TITLE
The Wicked Cheese Co. retains all rights of ownership and possession of the goods until full payment has been received.

RETURNS
We don’t ask you to return anything perishable but may ask for non perishable products to be returned to us. If so we will reimburse you for postage.

DELIVERY
We use Australia Post Express Mail for overnight delivery to all areas of Australia. For some regional parts of Australia, delivery can take an extra day. In these cases, we will pack your order with additional ice so that it will travel better. There is no such thing as door-to-door refrigerated transport in Australia yet. The service we use is fast but not refrigerated. We counter this by using specially designed packaging to minimise the effect of heat on your cheese.

Please make sure that the delivery address & postcode are correct as we can not be responsible for non delivery due to an incorrect address. Likewise in the event of extreme weather or other events out of our control (eg civil actions, delivery vehicle breakdown etc) we can not be responsible for any delivery delays.

PAYMENT
We accept payment online through Paypal, using Visa, MasterCard, or your Paypal account. Payment may also be made by cheque or direct bank transfer. In the case of cheque or bank transfer, your order will not be shipped until payment is received.

CANCELLATION
The Wicked Cheese Co. reserves the right not to accept or to cancel any order once accepted, without penalty. You too may cancel an order without penalty as long as we receive the notification a minimum of 3 days before the processing date (ie, the Tuesday following order placement).

PRIVACY & YOUR INFORMATION
We retain details necessary for successful fulfilment of your order and may use them for marketing purposes, for example emailing or posting you information about seasonal offers. These include: name, address, telephone number and email address of sender, name, address, telephone number and email address of recipient. We do not sell addresses to any other companies. We will never cold call you for marketing purposes.

THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS MAY CHANGE
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site.
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER.
